Welcome to our annual Summer Reading Challenge! From June 1 through July 19, readers of all ages are invited to grow their minds and nourish their imaginations.

How to Participate with Beanstack

Tracking your summer reading is completely digital and simple using Beanstack.

 Option 1: Use the Mobile App 

1. Download the free Beanstack app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Search for "Brown County Public Library District (IL)" within the app.
3. Register your whole family under one single login account.
4. Log your reading time and earn badges! 

Option 2: Use Our Custom Website

• Visit our direct portal at bcpubliclibraryil.beanstack.org
• Click "Register an Individual or Family" or sign back into your existing account.
• Join the 2026 iREAD Summer Challenge tailored to your age bracket. 

Challenges by Ages

Ages 0–5

Goal: Log 50 books

Earn incentive prizes for reading: (do not have to wait until the end to receive the incentive prizes)

• 20 books

Earn raffle tickets for grand prizes!

• Children's Art Basket Includes an activity easel, sidewalk chalk, and a sticker book.

Ages 6-12

Goal: Read 20 hours

Goal: Read 30 hours
