Bring your friends or come and make new friends! This new monthly program will be an informal hang-out and book discussion for tweens in grades 5th - 8th. The participants will decide on the format of the meetings, and the books to read and discuss each month.

Come create with Legos! We provide the legos you provide the creativity! This program is for children in grades 1st-8th grade.
READ FOR A LIFETIME
Read For A Lifetime is a state-wide reading program that targets high school students. This initiative promotes the enjoyment of reading by encouraging students to read both classic and contemporary literature and rewards them for their efforts. By participating in the program, students develop a love of books and reading that will last a lifetime. Read at least 4 books from the reading list to receive a certificate from the State of Illinois Library. Those in grades 9th - 12th can participate in this program by joining the reading challenge on Beanstack.
