This summer, Read, Renew, Repeat! 

Conservation as a movement focuses on protecting species from extinction, maintaining and restoring habitats, enhancing ecosystem services, and protecting biological diversity. iREAD 2024: Read, Renew, Repeat makes for a wonderfully diversified summer reading program that encourages reading as a restorative method of self-improvement and self-preservation.

Engaging programs are planned throughout the summer focusing on conservation, recycling, and endangered species.

Summer Reading is a FREE program for all ages; no registration is required. There will be 2 sessions to choose from and they will be held at the library.

7 Tuesdays: June 4, June 11, June 18, June 25, July 2, July 9, and July 16.

  • Session 1 will be from 9:15 to10:00
  • Session 2 will be from 10:30 to 11:15
May contain: advertisement, poster, recycling symbol, symbol, and person

TRACING YOUR READING

We are excited to use Beanstack again this year for our Summer Reading Challenges! Beanstack is a digital way you can track the books or minutes you read with reading challenges. These challenges are available for all ages! As you track your reading you will earn digital tickets that can be used to enter a drawing for prizes!

  • Reading Challenge for littles (ages 0 -6) - Read 40 Books
  • Reading Challenge for kids (ages 7 - 12) - Read for 600 minutes (10 hours)
  • Reading Challenge for teens (ages 13 - 18)- Read for 1200 minutes (20 hours)
  • Reading Challenge for Adults- Read for 1800 minutes (30 hours)
